Are there more specific instructions on using Set If Not Empty conditional with an Attachment Object

I've been trying to use the Set if Not Empty conditional when editing a record with an Attachment object. I've watched the video multiple times, but am having a hard time applying it to the attachment object.

I found a work around in Wized, but I'd still like to understand where I'm going wrong.

    I think that it had to do with how Wized was updating the variable name which made it so the api couldn't understand what variable I was sending the data to.
