Logic to check whether API output contains a field?

I've set up a an external API endpoint to get data from Airtable. If a field is blank in Airtable, the json response will not include that field at all, rather than sending it as null. Is there a way to set up a condition in Xano to check whether the Airtable result contains a certain field to handle these separate conditions?

Here's a video illustrating a specific scenario:

Result / Debugger Panel Empty After Run

Hi! I set up an external API with a While Loop to run the GET endpoint multiple times with an offset in order to get all 400+ records (since Airtable limits you to 100 records per call). The API itself works correctly, and everything looks right in my Xano table. However, at the end of the run, I get a blank Result / Debugger panel. Not sure if this is a bug for others or if I set up the While Loop in a way that makes it run infinitely (definitely possible!). πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

How to update an object array?

HiΒ ο»Ώ Michael Udinski ο»Ώ ! Starting a new thread here for questions about object arrays. Original thread was here: https://community.xano.com/c/apis/update-a-list-from-a-table-using-api

I was able to follow your instructions on how to update an object array: https://www.loom.com/share/2c37acf093b8476e8ca8497301c4a56d

Next, I'm trying to first add a record, then add this new record into the linked object array. However, I'm not sure how to format the new record object, so that it can be added to the existing array. Here's a loom showing the few approaches I've tried so far:

Errors adding data to table from External API

Hi! I'm setting up an external API to pull data from Airtable by following the steps in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdnuW2Vg8aA

I'm able to get the first two steps to work (fetching data and creating a new variable with the results).Β

However, when I try to add the records, nothing is added to the database. Here's the video showing my set up and results: https://www.loom.com/share/cb4d76f2e35e4ea38f7865a0c44a0b08

Help with Dot Notation

Hello! Dot notation is fantastic, yet sometimes I'm running into errors, when using dot notation as an input. The specific error is: "Unable to locate var: (whatever the dot notation variable may have been)". Here's a video where I show how I set up a variable using dot notation, as well as the error that shows up: https://www.loom.com/share/d84dca98b8254a40b25661d8e1e0a0a7

If-Condition Disappears After Set Up

When setting up an If-Then-Else condition for a function, the If-Condition disappears, even after saving it, if you go ahead and create the Then-Statement in the same right-side menu. Here's a video illustrating this: https://www.loom.com/share/b798dc3d5fb842cb8f104781e84b54c7

Using Custom Functions in POST Endpoints

Hello! I've reviewed your Custom Function tutorial, yet I'm running into errors when trying to add Custom Functions in a POST endpoint. The Custom Function runs successfully, and the POST endpoint without the Custom Function incorporated runs successfully.Β However when I add the Custom Function to the POST stack, it claims the result variable from the function is missing. Let me know if I can provide any additional info to troubleshoot. Thanks!
