We're excited to share an important update about our Scale plan!
We've loved seeing you on your Xano journey, starting with our free Build plan 🛠️, to going live with our Launch Plan 🚀, and upgrading to Scale 🧑🚀️ to meet the demands of your business. While our plans have fit most use cases, we've heard feedback that more Enterprise capability was needed in our self-serve plans. Earlier this year, we made some of these features available as premium add-ons, and while this was met with praise, we also heard some fair criticism. Today, we're excited to announce a new version of our Scale plan in our commitment to ensure you have access to the features you need without feeling overcharged.
What does the new Scale plan include?
This new version of Scale offers all of the same great upgrades you've already been using, such as 3x the compute power of Launch, extra database storage, included team seats, and load balancing. Today, we're also adding the following features to Scale at no additional cost:
🔐 Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Allow granular permissions for each team member and workspace within an instance. RBAC is crucial, especially for larger teams, to ensure your data is only accessible by those that need it.
Previously, RBAC was only available as a premium add-on for an additional $299/month. Now, we're bundling it with Scale at no additional cost.
📜 Compliance Center
The Compliance Center is the single source of truth for every workspace schema change. Need to know who merged that branch? Made a change to an API endpoint? Compliance Center is built for you.
Prior to this update, the Compliance Center was only available with our Enterprise plans. This is now available and included with Scale.
🌐 Middleware
Middleware offers powerful, workspace-wide logic to control the behavior of your APIs at pivotal points of execution. It's an essential tool for making whole app changes and deploying them quickly.
For all our plans, only one middleware was available unless you paid a premium of $99/month. The Scale plan now includes unlimited middleware.
🗄️ Private Storage
Private Storage allows you to store files that are only accessible through on-demand, time-sensitive URL generation. If you are storing sensitive data as attachments in your Xano back-end, you need this.
You guessed it! Scale now includes private storage for no additional fee, previously $29/month.
⏳Unlimited Background Tasks
Background tasks enable you to run scheduled logic on your terms. Previously, Scale included up to 15 background tasks.
Now, you can add unlimited tasks at no additional cost.
These are some huge improvements to our Scale plan, and we can't wait to see how you utilize these Enterprise-grade features without the Enterprise-grade cost.
Just one burning question remains-- how much is the price of Scale increasing with all these awesome upgrades? 🤔
Surely, we're going to need to raise the price of Scale to accommodate all of these new features, right?
Nope! Our Scale plan will remain at its current price point of $225/month or $199/month for yearly subscriptions. Build the scalable and secure back-end you need, with Enterprise-grade features, for less than $200 per month. We think that's a pretty good deal! 🌟
Don't worry about infrastructure management or the expense of back-end engineers just to keep things running smoothly,-- simply log in, build, and deploy, and let us handle the heavy lifting.
