Our AI assistant is here to assist you with navigating and utilizing the Xano platform. Leveraging a Retriever-Augmented Generation (RAG) approach, the chatbot references a comprehensive range of resources, including Xano’s official documentation, our website content, and valuable insights from our community platform.

Purpose of the AI Assistant:

The Xano Chatbot is designed to enhance your experience with the Xano platform by providing:

  1. Guided Assistance: Get step-by-step guidance on how to effectively use the Xano platform for your specific needs.

  2. Quick Answers: Receive instant answers sourced directly from Xano’s documentation and community forums.

  3. Navigation Help: Find the right resources and documentation sections without having to search manually.

The Xano team is still here to help, and our presence in the community will not change. We are introducing the bot to help users find answers to questions quicker, but it is not a replacement for our community. You can continue to rely on our team and community for support and collaboration.

How to Use the Chatbot:

You can open the chat interface by clicking on the Ask AI button in the bottom right-hand corner of the community.

  1. Ask a Question: Simply type in your question related to the Xano platform. For example, “How do I set up a new API in Xano?”

  2. Follow-Up: The chatbot may ask follow-up questions to clarify your needs, ensuring that the assistance you receive is as accurate and helpful as possible.

  3. Receive Guidance: The chatbot will provide an answer along with references to the Xano documentation, website, or community post for further details.

  • Scope of Assistance: The chatbot is specialized in providing guidance about the Xano platform. It is not designed for general (unrelated to xano) inquiries or to provide code-generation services.

  • Privacy & Security: Your interactions with the chatbot are subject to our privacy policy. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information during your conversations.

  • Feedback: Your input is valuable. If you have suggestions on how we can improve the chatbot, please let us know by leaving a comment below.

Want to help improve the responses?

As the AI assistant is referencing data from our community, if you can't find an answer to your question, feel free to ask the community for assistance. When you receive an answer, the assistant can use this response to help the next person.

Alternatively, you might even create a guide teaching other users how to achieve something in Xano. Any of the content you contribute to the community will be accessible directly from the assistant!

Also when you receive a response from the assistant you have an option to click a thumbs up or thumbs down button, if you are unhappy with the response please thumbs down the response so we can aim to update our documentation to provide a better response next time.
