Xano Agent is here. It’s a native AI agent embedded directly in Xano that can build, modify, and debug backend logic across your entire workspace. It replaces the Logic Assistant and graduates to a workspace-wide agent that works across all Xano logic primitives and the database simultaneously.
With Xano Agent, you can:
Prompt the agent with anything you want to build: The Xano Agent will use the Developer MCP and XanoScript to create everything needed across your workspace.
View and navigate your workspace files visually: Logic can be explored through the familiar function stack and canvas views, not just raw XanoScript.
Review a diff of all changes: Check against your current workspace before committing—changes land in drafts so you can visually validate before publishing.
Pass Run & Debug context directly to the agent: Get quick help resolving errors.
Maintain conversation history for 7 days: History runs across modal closes and page reloads so context is never lost mid-task.
The agent respects existing RBAC permissions, so it can only act within the access boundaries already defined for you. Database changes that can't be staged are clearly flagged and logged in audit history.
You can also bring your own model API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). (Note: Usage runs against your own key and costs rather than your Xano or AI provider subscription.)
Try it out by clicking the Xano Agent button in your workspace sidebar, and comment to let us know what you think.
