How to enable Realtime and have role based app usage while on essential plan

Hi all,

1) With the new essential plan i understand RBAC is not included but role based access is almost a basic requisite for any client app. How to do this ?
2)For Realtime - notifications, chat, instant update on all devices etc. are there any limits/extra charges/tradeoffs because i see that realtime is enabled for the whole project/instance and not for specific tables.
