Custom Xano database or headless e-commerce

I'm building out a construction marketplace that has unique construction management and design features that will require me to use a custom database. Part of our platform is an e-commerce store where our clients purchase building products. This part can be pretty cookie-cutter.

I'm debating whether to use Xano to build a custom database for the e-commerce functionality or whether to use a set headless e-commerce solution like Bigcommerce. The advantage would be having a structured scheme to handle variants, a backend with a GUI to manage products and variants, and a dashboard to view sales metrics. If I do this in xano I would have to build that out myself, both the backend schema, business logic and then the admin front end to manage the product catalog.

I would like to focus my efforts on the unique features of my website, so If I can get something out of the box without getting charged an arm and a leg that would be great. (Some of the headless e-commerce solutions have a hefty price tag.)

Any recommendations on headless e-commerce solutions? Any one have experience integrating such a solution into a Xano database to add custom features?
