I was happy to learn about the new feature that allows to migrate table from one data source to another. But it only works for smaller tables in my case. Maybe you guys have different experience.
So apart from making the process more reliable and predictable, I would like to see the following features in the data source migration functionality:
Search/filter to find a table (or tables) that one need to migrate
Some progress metrics like total records, records migrated, % migrated
What is it that the migration job is doing (like what tables are being migrated), now it is just an indication that some work running and its status
Indication of a job that timed out
A possibility to stop the migration and return the table to the state it was before the migration started if it hangs
